I am not usually a patient man, but experience has taught me to value patience. That’s why I was able to wait ten long years to make another global foray after our derailment in America. Brands are where money is made; and it is the same thing with Prestige in India. The reason I am proud of the Prestige brand is that the consumer recognizes it as a trustworthy name. It’s a trust that has been built over decades.

My ambition for a global presence for our own brand had continued to simmer, though the setback with Manttra Inc. in the US in 2000 made us cautious. After a ten-year search, we acquired UK’s largest table and cookware suppliers, Horwood Homewares Ltd, in April 2016, and gained entry into the European market. TTK British Holdings is our overseas subsidiary that runs this business.
